WALKIES SETUP INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW CLIENTS
Walks & Wags with Morgan
Welcome to Walks & Wags with Morgan! We’re excited to care for your pets and are now using the Walkies: Customer Pet Journal app for service bookings and communication. Please follow these easy steps to get started:
1. Click our Walkies Link→
2. Download the App
3. Sign Up via Social or Email
On the “Let’s Get You Connected” screen, complete all required fields:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Phone Number (include country code ‘1’ at the beginning)
Physical Address
Emergency Contact Name
Emergency Contact Phone Number (include country code ‘1’ at the beginning)
⚠️ Incomplete or inaccurate information will prevent you from booking services with Walks & Wags with Morgan.
4. Complete Your Pet Profile(s)
Before booking any services, you must complete your pet's profile(s):
Tap the gear icon in the top left to access Settings, then select “Pets.”
Tap the plus icon in the top right to add a pet.
Select the species and complete the pet’s basic information.
Tips for Pet Profile Completion:
It is helpful to WWM if you upload a pet photo by tapping the camera icon and granting photo access. WWM will only see the picture you choose.
Provide your pet’s breed, weight, sex, and age. Use best estimates when uncertain (e.g., if the breed is unknown, list “Mixed Breed”; if age is an estimated number of years, enter a date approximately that many years ago).
Provide the name of your veterinary office and its phone number (include country code ‘1’ at the beginning).
⚠️ You must complete at least one (1) pet profile to schedule your Meet & Greet.
5. Set Notification Preferences
Go to Settings (gear icon), then tap “Notifications.”
Toggle on Push Notifications. You may also enable Email Notifications if you’d like.
Additionally, you may toggle off notifications for specific event types if you’d prefer. Please leave ‘New Bulletin’ and ‘Bulletin Updated’ toggled on, however.
Tap the check mark in the top right to save your preferences.
📨 WWM does not currently use text messaging for notifications.
6. Book Your Meet & Greet
Once your pet profiles are completed:
Tap “Book Something” from your home screen.
Select “Meet & Greet.”
View WWM’s calendar & choose a preferred date. Tap “Select Times”. You’ll see available time windows.
Tap “Go to Summary.”
Use the “Notes” section to specify your preferred time within the selected window.
⏰ Most Meet & Greets last 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Tap “Send Booking Request.” You’ll receive a push notification when your request is accepted or denied.
Once your request is accepted, you’ll receive an email with WWM’s online Veterinary Release Form. This form should be completed either before your Meet & Greet or during your Meet & Greet with Morgan.
WWM’s Terms & Conditions, Payment Policy, and Cancellation Policy will be added to your Walkies app. WWM requires these electronically signed contracts in the app before any services can be performed after the Meet & Greet.
